SECTION 02 - VERBAL CONDUCT:
2.01 - OOC TARGETING:
Violation Category: [F]
General Information: Information, interactions, and scenes that happen in-character (IC) should stay IC. Do not use IC information to target or harm others out-of-character (OOC). This rule prohibits using IC information to encourage or participate in the OOC targeting of other players.
Examples of prohibited behavior include:

Talking about community regulations, including city laws, rules, government rules, or guidelines. 2.03 - TARGETED BEHAVIOR:
Violation Category: [G]

Some examples of prohibited conduct include:
Using extremely offensive terminology Launching targeted attacks against others that go beyond the scope of roleplay Engaging in discriminatory behavior related to racism, homophobia, transphobia, or disabilities Discriminating against others based on protected categories and beliefs, such as religion or culture Remember to always treat others with respect and kindness, both in and out of character.
SECTION 03 - UNREASONABLE CONDUCT
3.01 - GRIEFING:
Violation Category: [F]
General Information: General Information: Starting scenes or storylines with the intention of negatively affecting other playersâ experiences through griefing or trolling is not allowed. Your characterâs actions should always aim to create enjoyable and memorable roleplay interactions that have the potential to develop and benefit both your character and those of others.
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
Creating disposable characters for the purpose of engaging in unreasonable or unjustified actions Making characters with the sole intent of griefing or trolling other players Modifying the performance of other playersâ vehicles without their explicit permission Applying or removing chameleon paint jobs on other playersâ vehicles without their clear consent Always strive to engage in meaningful and constructive roleplay that enhances the experience for everyone involved.
3.02 - LOOPHOLING & BAITING:
Violation Category: [G-H]
General Information: In RealityRP, we prioritize roleplay over strict adherence to rules, allowing for some flexibility in order to create engaging and memorable scenes. However, this flexibility should never be used to gain an unfair advantage or to break rules solely for personal benefit.
We prohibit any attempts to circumvent or exploit loopholes in our community guidelines and regulations. Decisions made by staff members are final, and any efforts to manipulate or influence them for your own gain or that of others are strictly forbidden. This includes baiting others into violating community policies.
Examples of acceptable bending of rules for great roleplay:
Allowing a character to survive a deadly situation if it creates a compelling story arc and enhances the overall narrative. Permitting a character to temporarily overlook a minor offense committed by another player if it leads to an interesting and meaningful interaction. Examples of unacceptable rule-breaking:
Exploiting a game mechanic or loophole to gain an unfair advantage over other players, such as using a glitch to duplicate items or currency. Encouraging others to break rules or engage in prohibited activities to benefit your character or Gang.
3.03 - EXCESSIVE TOXICITY
Violation Category: [E - G]
General Information: Engaging in excessively toxic behavior towards others is strictly prohibited. It is crucial to maintain a respectful and understanding attitude towards fellow players, as everyone is here to enjoy memorable interactions and scenes. Being mindful of your own actions and their impact on others is of the utmost importance, as it contributes to ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all. Acts intended to cause harm, malice, or disturbance to others are not welcome in our community.
Examples of excessively toxic behavior include:
-
Mag dumping: Excessively shooting downed players beyond what is necessary to injure or kill them.
-
Excessive noise: Screaming or talking loudly beyond what is considered reasonable and necessary for the situation.
-

-
Prolonged kidnapping: Picking up others and running or driving around with them for excessive amounts of time (e.g., 15 minutes) without a valid reason or necessity.
SECTION 04 - CHARACTER CONDUCT:
C04.01 - LOW EFFORT ROLEPLAY:
Violation Category: [A - G]
General Information: As a roleplay-focused server, Reality Roleplay expects its players to prioritize engaging and interactive roleplay scenes with others. When creating your characters, develop their unique personalities, traits, and boundaries, and stay true to these attributes throughout your interactions. Engage in scenes and conversations that make sense for your characterâs storyline and contribute to their development and growth.
Your primary goal should be to promote enjoyable and memorable interactions for both yourself and your fellow players. Lead by example, showcasing your dedication to high-quality roleplay and encouraging others to do the same. Strive to create meaningful connections between characters, and explore the full potential of your own charactersâ stories.
Remember, the key to a thriving roleplay community is collaboration and mutual respect. By focusing on creating immersive and believable characters, and by actively participating in compelling storylines, you contribute to the overall quality of the roleplay experience for everyone on the server.
4.02 - GOVERNMENT CHARACTERS:
Violation Category: [G-H]
General Information: Characters holding positions within the in-city government are expected to maintain the highest standards of roleplay and are strictly prohibited from engaging in any acts that could be perceived as character blending. These roles come with a significant responsibility to ensure fair and unbiased interactions with all players.
Using information, motives, or knowledge gained from other characters to benefit yourself or those you know is strictly forbidden. Government-related positions must remain separate from personal character motives and relationships to maintain the integrity of the roleplay experience.
The following positions are held to these elevated standards:
- Law Enforcement Personnel
- Emergency Medical Service Personnel
- Government Officials
- Judicial Personnel
Players in these roles are expected to lead by example, demonstrating a deep understanding of their charactersâ responsibilities and the impact their actions have on the serverâs overall roleplay quality. They should strive to create immersive, engaging, and fair interactions with all players, regardless of personal connections or previous character experiences.
Failure to adhere to these high standards may result in consequences, as determined by the serverâs rules and guidelines. Remember, maintaining the integrity and quality of roleplay within these crucial government positions is essential for the enjoyment and fairness of the entire Reality Roleplay community.
4.03 - VALUE OF LIFE
Violation Category: [F]
General Information: In any interaction that could potentially lead to injury or death, your characters should always be mindful of their surroundings and act accordingly. If your character finds themselves in a situation where they are faced with the threat of severe physical harm, especially when lethal weapons are involved, they should genuinely fear for their life.
Your character is only permitted to engage in acts of self-defense if they already have a weapon drawn before being engaged by an opposing party. However, there are certain circumstances where your character should comply and fear for their life, regardless of whether they have a weapon out or not. Here are some examples:
- When your character is outnumbered and outgunned by a ratio of 3 to 1.
- When your characterâs group is outnumbered and outgunned by a ratio of 5 to 2.
- When your characterâs group is outnumbered and outgunned by a ratio of 7 to 3.
- When your characterâs group is outnumbered and outgunned by a ratio of 9 to 4.
- When your characterâs group is outnumbered and outgunned by a ratio of 11 to 5.
- When your characterâs group is outnumbered and outgunned by a ratio of 13 to 6.
- When your characterâs group is outnumbered and outgunned by a ratio of 15 to 7.
In these situations, it is crucial to prioritize your characterâs survival instincts and react in a way that is consistent with the fear and stress they would experience when faced with such overwhelming odds. Remember, good roleplay involves creating believable and immersive characters who respond realistically to the situations they encounter.
SECTION 05 - REALISTIC CONDUCT:
5.01 - CHARACTER INJURY:
Violation Category: [B]
General Information: Whenever your character has been downed for any reason, it is essential to act and behave in a manner that is consistent with the circumstances and injuries sustained. The severity of the injury should dictate how your character acts, sounds, and communicates with others while in a downed state. To maintain the immersion of other players, it is crucial to engage in a way that enhances the overall experience and avoids any actions that could potentially disrupt the immersive atmosphere. By carefully considering the impact of your characterâs behavior on others, you can contribute to a more enjoyable and realistic roleplay experience for everyone involved.
5.02 - NEW LIFE RULE:
Violation Category: [F]
General Information: When your character is downed by another player, they are considered injured and can receive treatment from the emergency medical service. If you choose to respawn once the 5-minute timer has elapsed, your character is deemed to have died. In this case, any information pertaining to the events that led to your characterâs death must be disregarded. Utilizing any knowledge related to the scene in which your character died will be viewed as a violation of the âNew Life Ruleâ (NLR). To maintain fairness and consistency within the roleplay, it is essential to adhere to the NLR and start anew with your character, without carrying over any information from their previous life.
5.03 - SCENE RETURN:
Violation Category: [D]
General Information: Your character is prohibited from returning to an active interaction upon being downed whether it be by a player or a local. Furthermore, it is not permissible to engage in combative and/or violent roleplay should your character be downed by another player for a total of 15-minutes as of the moment your character receives medical care.
5.04 - PERMANENT DEATH:
Violation Category: [G]
General Information: When engaging in interactions that are meant to bring a permanent end to your characterâs storyline, it is crucial to see them through to their conclusion. Once you have declared the death of your character, it is not allowed to reverse or âwalk backâ this decision. To finalize the process, you are required to reach out to a staff member for assistance. If you wish to initiate a permanent death for your character, you can do so by using the command â/me \âno pulse\ââ while in a downed state. This action signifies that your character has no vital signs and has permanently passed away. It is important to understand the gravity of this decision and to proceed with the permanent death only if you are fully committed to concluding your characterâs story.
SECTION 06 - HOSTAGE CONDUCT:
6.01 - CAPTURE TIMER:
Violation Category: [B]
General Information: It is strictly forbidden to capture and detain an individual for more than 30 minutes. However, there are certain circumstances in which the 30-minute timer may be extended if an ongoing interaction necessitates it. In such cases, the timer can be prolonged by an additional 20 minutes. The following are examples of interactions that justify an extension:
- Heist situations where law enforcement officers are actively involved.
- Negotiations with law enforcement officers are taking place.
- The hostage has willingly agreed to remain in captivity for an extended period.
If any of these scenarios apply, the 30-minute timer can be extended by a maximum of 20 minutes to accommodate the ongoing interaction. It is important to note that this extension should only be utilized when absolutely necessary and not as a means to prolong the captivity of an individual beyond what is reasonable for the specific situation at hand.
6.02 - FAKE HOSTAGES:
Violation Category: [D]
General Information: When engaging in kidnapping or capturing individuals to use as hostages, it is essential to ensure that the process is carried out legitimately. It is not allowed to go out of your way to arrange for fake hostages to be involved in an interaction. This means that using friends, associates, or fellow Gang members as your hostages is strictly prohibited. The purpose of this rule is to maintain the authenticity and fairness of the roleplay experience for all participants. By adhering to this guideline, you ensure that the interactions involving hostages are genuine and not pre-arranged or staged. It is crucial to engage in these situations with individuals who are not affiliated with you or your group, as this enhances the realism and immersion of the roleplay for everyone involved.
SECTION 07 - GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL:
7.01 - LAW ENFORCEMENT INTERACTIONS:
Violation Category: [D]
General Information: When interacting with law enforcement personnel, it is crucial to prioritize treating them with respect and to avoid planning or engaging in actions that are solely intended to maliciously interfere with or disrupt their activities. Engaging in such behavior can result in severe consequences for your character, as law enforcement officers have the authority to take appropriate actions against those who deliberately cause trouble. Examples of actions to avoid include:
- Purposefully attempting to bait law enforcement officers into pursuing you without a valid reason.
- Following or pursuing law enforcement officers with the intention of being a nuisance or causing disruption.
- Deliberately setting up situations that lure law enforcement into an ambush or trap.
- Initiating violent interactions with law enforcement officers when there is no justifiable necessity for the situation to escalate to violence.
7.02 - ROBBERIES:
Violation Category: [F]
Note: Excessively targeting law enforcement for the sole reason of abusing this policy will lead to a permanent removal.
General Information: Initiating scenes with the sole intention of robbing law enforcement and/or emergency services personnel is prohibited. Most of the equipment and items on law enforcement officers are considered unobtainable and not robbable as a result. However, you are permitted to take back equipment a law enforcement officer has taken off you within 1-hour as of the moment it happened. This is also applicable to Gruppe 6, do not rob them besides for the heist.
7.03 - UNWARRANTED HOSTILITY:
Violation Category: [A - D]
General Information: Members of the emergency medical service engage in supportive functions and as a result should be treated non-violently. However, it is permissible to inform medical personnel to vacate an area due to an active interaction with an individual they are attempting to provide care to. Should they fail to comply within a reasonable amount of time, then violence may be used as a last resort.
7.04 - GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION:
Violation Category: [G - H]
General Information: When holding a government position, it is strictly forbidden to engage in malicious acts that exploit the features or distribute the equipment provided to you as part of your official duties. The equipment issued to government personnel is intended for their exclusive use and should not be shared or given to others, as it is generally unobtainable in most circumstances. Violating the standard operating procedures of your assigned job in a manner similar to this will result in severe consequences for your character.
SECTION 08 - PLAYER ROAMING LIMITATIONS:
8.01 - HEIST PARTICIPATION:
Violation Category: [B]
General Information: You are prohibited from initiating pre-set heists that are specified under this community directive beyond the stated limitations. This includes but is not limited to getaway drivers, individuals running interference, and lookouts. Law enforcement personnel will limit themselves accordingly until the interaction takes a violent turn. The heists under this directive is as follows:
-
*Pacific Standard Bank: [7]
-
Blaine County Savings Bank: [6]
-

Additionally, Gang members have the liberty to roam with their entire Gang whenever they choose. However, interactions that become hostile or violent towards law enforcement personnel are restricted to groups of 10 individuals. Any surplus members must disengage unless they are under attack by law enforcement while attempting to flee. It is paramount to prioritize evasion from the law rather than confrontation or aggression.
08.03 - SCENE DISRUPTION:
Violation Category: [D]
Overview: You are not allowed to intentionally disrupt ongoing interactions or roleplay scenes. Avoid inserting yourself into storylines where you donât have a role or reason to be present. Additionally, interfering with situations like heists, once theyâve commenced with at least one hostage per entrance, or when law enforcement have engaged, is strictly prohibited.
SECTION 09 - HEIST & ROBBERY CONDUCT:
9.01 - HEIST COOLDOWN:
Infraction Category: [B]
General Information: After completing a heist that you initiated or participated in, you are not allowed to take part in or start another heist for a period of one hour. However, this one-hour cooldown only applies if you plan to engage in a heist of a different category than the one you were previously involved in.
If you wish to repeatedly hit the same type of heist, the following cooldown periods apply:
- Blaine County Savings Bank: [COOLDOWN EXEMPTION]
- Pacific Standard Bank: [3H]
- Fleeca Bank: [1H]
- Jewelry Store: [1H]
- Bank Truck: [1H]
- Store Robberies: [COOLDOWN EXEMPTION]
- House Robberies: [COOLDOWN EXEMPTION]
9.02 - HOSTAGE ROBBERY:
Infraction Category: [D]
General Information: When conducting a heist, it is strictly forbidden to use the situation as a means to rob one or more of the individuals taken as hostages. The sole objective of a heist should be to secure all available loot and valuables, and then to safely exit the area without harming or robbing the hostages.
9.03 - CAMPING:
Infraction Category: [D]
General Information: Camping at specific locations with the intention of initiating robberies on other individuals is strictly prohibited. Using predetermined locations as a means to rob others is not allowed due to the lack of counterplay options available to the victims. Most illicit locations serve specific purposes that can only be carried out at those particular spots, making it unfair to use them as ambush points for robberies.
9.04 - LOW EFFORT ROBBERY:
Violation Category: [D]
Overview: Avoid engaging in robberies without proper justification and backstory. Robbery scenarios should involve mutual interaction and opportunity for response. After completing such an interaction, you must leave the area and refrain from harming the individual(s) unless they provoke or threaten you intentionally. Examples of valid justifications and initiation include:
Legitimate reasons:
- The individual(s) have repeatedly threatened you or your crew.
- The individual(s) are aggressively displaying their wealth.
- The individual(s) are involved in conflicts or disputes with your Gang.
- The individual(s) have provided information about your crew to law enforcement.
- If the players are openly carrying firearms instead of putting them in a gun bag,
To properly initiate a robbery, you should:
-
Approach the target(s) in a manner that is consistent with your characterâs intentions and the situation at hand.
-
Clearly state your intention to rob them, using language and actions that are appropriate for the setting and your characterâs personality.
-
Provide the other party with a reasonable amount of time to process your intentions and respond in character, allowing for a natural flow of roleplay.
-
Engage in dialogue and actions that contribute to a believable and immersive scenario, rather than resorting to low-effort or disruptive behavior.
SECTION 10 - FRAUDULENT CONDUCT:
10.01 - LOW EFFORT SCAMMING:
Infraction Category: [D]
General Information: When it comes to scamming and fraudulent behavior within the context of roleplay, it is generally allowed, provided that it is carried out with appropriate and reasonable initiation. The interaction should be conducted in a way that allows for two-sided roleplay, conversation, and counterplay between the involved parties. However, there are certain types of interactions that are considered invalid and should be avoided:
- Interactions that do not provide a reasonable opportunity for counterplay. For example, if you receive goods from another player and immediately drive away without allowing them a chance to respond or react, this would be considered an invalid interaction. There should be a sufficient window of time for the other party to engage in roleplay and potentially counter the scam or fraudulent behavior.
2.Targeting new players specifically for their starter money is not allowed. New players are often still learning the ropes of the roleplay environment, and taking advantage of their inexperience to scam them out of their initial funds is considered poor form and goes against the spirit of fair play.
3.Interactions that rely on exploiting a playerâs lack of knowledge about the city or its mechanics are also prohibited. Scams or fraudulent behavior should be based on in-character actions and dialogue, not on the fact that a player is new to the environment and may not yet understand how everything works.
10.02 - CURRENCY TRADING:
Infraction Category: [H]
General Information: Trading virtual currency and valuables for real-life money, or vice versa, is strictly forbidden. Engaging in this type of activity is not allowed because it creates several risks and negative consequences:
-
Scamming: Trading virtual items for real money can lead to scams, where one party may not hold up their end of the deal.
-
In-game Economy: Buying or selling virtual currency for real money can disrupt the balance of the in-game economy and markets.
-
Character Progression: Using real money to purchase virtual items or currency can give some players an unfair advantage and negatively impact the progression of characters who play fairly.

Examples:
- Bringing OOC conversations into roleplay.

- Using info from Discord, Steam, Twitch, YouTube, etc. in-character.
11.02 - POWER GAMING:

11.03 - COMBAT LOGGING:
Infraction Category: [F] General Information: Disconnecting from the server during an active interaction to avoid the consequences of your character's actions is prohibited. Conclude active interactions properly before disconnecting. Using a crash to gain roleplay benefits is prohibited; fill out a crash report and return to the interaction immediately. If it was a law enforcement interaction that has concluded, turn yourself in. Refusing to turn yourself in or hiding your items to save them from loss while in police custody will be treated as combat logging, as you are exploiting a crash for personal gain.
SECTION 12 - RESTART CONDUCT:
12.01 - TSUNAMI CONDUCT:
Infraction Category: [B] General Information: During the twenty minutes before and after a server restart, do not initiate heists or violent conduct. Conclude all interactions in an orderly manner. Avoid starting lengthy interactions when aware of an imminent server restart. This policy should not be used to nullify an active interaction with an inappropriate conclusion.
SECTION 13 - VEHICLE CONDUCT:
13.01 - VEHICLE DEATH MATCH:
Infraction Category: [D] General Information: Refrain from intentionally using your vehicle to harm other players. Using a vehicle to kill is only permissible under specific circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, ramming into players or other vehicles. Examples of excessive conduct:

SECTION 14 - HOSTILE CONDUCT:
C14.01 - RANDOM DEATH MATCH:
Infraction Category: [E] General Information: Attacking other players at random is prohibited. Violent interactions require proper initiation, reasoning, and backstory. Avoid actions resembling hitman roleplay, as they can be misinterpreted as policy violations if done improperly.
C14.02 - LOW EFFORT KILLING:
Infraction Category: [D] General Information: Initiating hostile interactions generally requires appropriate escalation of force through conversation to justify the motive. As the initiating party, clearly convey your intent to start hostile and violent roleplay. Killing individuals from afar as a means of initiation is prohibited. Avoid excessively escalating hostile interactions with unwarranted and impulsive behavior, such as running around in circles.
SECTION 15 - FAIRPLAY CONDUCT:
C15.01 - EXPLOITING:
Infraction Category: [G - S4] General Information: Intentionally taking advantage of exploits that provide an unintentional advantage from a game feature is prohibited. Report such features to the community staff team upon discovery. Abusing exploits will result in severe punitive actions towards you and any participants.
C15.02 - MODDING:
Infraction Category: [H] General Information: Using injectors and/or modification clients is strictly prohibited in Reality Roleplay. Individuals connected to such actions will be removed from the community without notice. Using clients that exploit events, scripts, or game features is considered the use of third-party modification software.
15.03 - ALTERED FILES:
Infraction Category: [F - G] General Information: Usage of altered assets such as certain texture packs, no fog, no vegetation, transparent ocean, tracers, high brightness/esp kill effects, and similar modifications is prohibited. Some shaders and kill effects may be permissible; contact the community staff team for clarification to avoid issues.
SECTION 16 - WHITELISTED JOBS:
16.01 - JOB ABUSE:
Infraction Category: [G] General Information: Taking advantage of whitelist jobs to gain uncountered advantages for yourself or others is prohibited. Mechanics implemented for specific roles should be used as intended and not diverted from under any circumstances. This includes actions like bankrupting or attacking businesses through mechanical abuse to lower their society fund.

Such conduct will lead to immediate removal from all servers affiliated with RealityRP.
18.02 - MINI MODDING:
Infraction Category: [G] General Information: Taking initiative to mention or enforce community regulatory guidelines within roleplay is strictly prohibited. Community guidelines are not known within roleplay, so bringing out-of-character information into roleplay and attempting to correct people's mistakes is not allowed. Leave this to the staff team through reports.
18.03 - ADVERTISEMENTS:
Infraction Category: [H] General Information: Advertising other servers and communities without explicit approval from the management team is prohibited. Engaging in such conduct without necessary approval will lead to immediate removal from any server and community affiliated with the Reality Roleplay Network.

19.02 - SUICIDE ROLEPLAY:
Infraction Category: [C] General Information: Participating in or organizing roleplay and content involving self-harm or suicidal acts should be avoided regardless of consent due to the controversial and extreme nature of these interactions.
